By the end of this workshop, you'll understand how AI can be applied in education without getting lost in technical jargon, use leading AI tools (ChatGPT, Anthropic, Google Colab, and Google Gemini) to design curriculum and build adaptive learning materials, explore strategies for personalized learning and assessment, and develop an actionable implementation plan — complete with recommended tools, templates, and a resource kit — to continue building your AI-enhanced teaching practice.
What You'll Learn
- Understand core AI concepts in the context of teaching and learning
- Design AI-enhanced curriculum and lesson plans using ChatGPT, Anthropic, Google Colab, Google Slides, and Gemini

- Section 1 – Foundations & Opportunities (2 hours)

- • AI in Education Overview: What it is, what it isn't, and where it's heading
- • Break (15 min)
- • Case Studies: Examples of AI-driven success in schools, universities, and online learning
- • Hands-On Demo: Using ChatGPT or Anthropic to brainstorm lesson ideas and instructional approaches
- Section 2 – Curriculum & Personalization (2 hours)
- • Curriculum Design with AI: Building outlines, lesson plans, and activities with Google Gemini and ChatGPT
- • Personalized Learning Systems: Tailoring experiences to student needs using AI
- • Break (15 min)
- • Group Exercise: Redesign a lesson collaboratively using Anthropic and Gemini for content generation and adaptation
- Section 3 – Implementation & Ethics (2 hours)
- • Hands-On with AI Tools for Educators: Using Google Colab, Google Slides, and Gemini to create interactive materials and slide decks
- • Ethics & Responsibility in Education AI: Privacy, bias, and accessibility
- • Break (15 min)
- • Implementation Planning: Build your action plan for integrating AI in your work
- • Q&A & Wrap-Up: Certificates, LinkedIn skill validation, Slack group invitation

Prerequisites
- No prior AI or coding experience required
- A laptop and a stable internet connection
